Valuable To Jesus (VTJ) is a child protection programme implemented within the five Synods under the CCAP umbrella. The aim is to improve the protection of vulnerable children in local communities and school settings. Children affected by conflict, displacement, or natural disasters will be prioritised. It also prioritises the care and support of children who are survivors of abuse.
The programme works through the church and engages communities and authorities at different levels to advocate for improved child protection.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, a department of the Presbyterian Church USA, supports this project.
