On 24th and 25th June 2024, representatives of the Church and Society Programmes of Livingstonia, Nkhoma and Blantyre synods met to discuss how they might cooperate in supporting the delivery of a free, fair and peaceful election in Malawi in 2025. The meeting was hosted and facilitated by the General Assembly.
Representatives discussed the current outlook ahead of the official election period and areas where the church can be supportive. There was also an opportunity to discuss other potential areas where the synods in Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe can collaborate to foster thriving and peaceful communities.
